Evidence needed in WPL match fixing claims

YESTERDAY sparked a media frenzy amongst publications who cover the Welsh Premier League as allegations of match fixing emerged.
Anti match fixing organisation Federbet published a document on numerous matches in different countries that they alleged to be fixed, with two in Wales.
Bala Town's 7-0 win over GAP Connah's Quay was one and the other was a 1-1 draw between Port Talbot Town and Carmarthen Town.
These findings sparked a panic amongst clubs with statement after statement being issued to quash the issues, however until the evidence behind the matters come to light, this won't go away.
In total 13 games in the UK were named, all lower league games in England, and where these allegations have come from are confusing people, as they have sprung from out of the blue.
This is following on from last years scandal involving a number of league clubs, with striker DJ Campbell being the most high profile named in the fiasco.
The company behind the allegations are Federbet, and it is claimed by the clubs they have never had any contact with this company, and neither have the league.
This has been reiterated by the other teams and leagues involved in England, and has showed a unity between club and authority.
People have been speculating the reasons behind the matters, which I feel is the wrong thing to do, considering these are very serious claims.
What makes the claims even more confusing is that they claim the match between GAP and Bala ended 6-0, despite the result being 7-0. And further to this they got the date wrong, so this is another reason the claims aren't concrete.
I think the company needs to come out sooner rather than later to give the evidence behind the claims, or quash them all together.
